Meet Maureen
Maureen is about 3 years old, and pretty as a Princess! When she was about 18 months old, Maureen had surgery on both knees for a condition she was born with. Thankfully she does not have any activity restrictions.
Typical Malamute, Maureen cannot live with small pets, nor with females of any size. She may be able to have a play date with a large male dog, although she would be best as the only pet in the house hold. Loveable and sweet, Maureen is house broken, walks well on leash and is crate trained.
If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog, please contact CHAAMP at CHAAMPapplication@gmail.com for an application. Our application is not meant to keep you from adopting! It is a tool to help us figure out which of our dogs are a good match for you and your lifestyle. PLEASE NOTE: CHAAMP accepts applications ONLY from Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington DC. The information on your application will help CHAAMP determine which of our dogs is a good match for you and your family, based upon your lifestyle, family, other pets, etc. A home visit is required prior to all adoptions. Many of our dogs are fostered in private homes and cannot be visited until you have been approved for adoption. THERE IS AN ADOPTION FEE OF $250 for this dog. He or she is healthy, spayed or neutered, up to date on all shots, and heartworm negative. CHAAMP IS NOT A SHELTER. We are volunteers over a 5-state area dedicated to helping Malamutes in our rescue area. You can read more about Malamutes and about CHAAMP by visiting www.chaamp.org
