Dingo (declawed) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Dingo was brought to the shelter as a stray on 8/07/14. He is a very handsome male with yellow/green eyes and a thick, short, black coat. As you know, black animals of all kinds are more difficult to place, and he is worried about falling into the black cat stigma, so he wants to make sure that you know that he is already neutered as well as declawed. Dingo is 3 years old, talkative, and loves attention. Like most large cats, Dingo prefers to receive attention while by your side, or on your lap, but is not fond of being held in your arms for long periods of time. He absolutely relishes attention and will seek you out for ear and neck scratching, and all the brushing and petting that you have time to lavish upon him. Dingo is a mellow, but inquisitive male that loves to make the rounds in search of a new catnip toy, or one that may be hiding behind the leg of a chair. He is a wonderful and happy chunky monkey kind of cat that is mellow, yet alert to everything that is happening around him. Wouldn't he look great sitting at your window waiting for you to come home after a long day at work?
