Coby Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Coby is an awesome 5 year old neutered male that was brought to the shelter as a stray on 7/05/14. At that time he was scratched up and looked a little bit like a street wise alley cat that had found his match. He was sent to a foster home where he instantly proved to be one of the most laid-back, snuggly, lap roosting, people loving cats that has ever been brought through the shelter doors. Coby didn't invent the typical couch potato personality, but he sure has perfected it! He rolls over for belly-rubs and who could resist scratching those handsome big jowls of his? This mellow fellow enjoys being near you, and even loves sleeping with you! He also does amazingly well with dogs as well as with other cats. He is just a big lover-boy through and through, and would be a perfect match for most households. It is true that playing is not on the top of his daily list of things to do, but not even Coby can resist feather toys. He thinks they are just the cat's meow (especially if there is a human taking part in the fun). Coby is excellent with the litter box and will certainly be a treasured companion for the lucky family that adopts him. Note: Coby's upper right canine tooth is fractured and should be evaluated on his first visit to the vet. We would also like you to know that his eyes do get red when he is under stress. It cleared up quickly during his stay in a foster home.
