Flower Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Flower is an 8 year old spayed female that was surrendered to the shelter on 8/02/14. She had lived in that same household her entire life, but sadly her previous owner could no longer care for her. Flower has a soft coat that is very thick and rich looking in color with a feminine patch of white on her chest as if she was wearing a necklace. Her yellow/green eyes seem to be asking why she is here surrounded by so many other animals and strangers. She is very friendly and loves to be petted, but is cautious at the same time with her tail swaying back and forth as she enjoys the attention she is being given. Like most older and larger cats, Flower is not real fond of being held in your arms for any length of time, and will reward you with an instant purr of contentment when you scratch her neck as she enjoys time on your lap or beside you. Flower is a quiet couch potato that enjoys time lounging in a ray of sunlight and keeping a close eye on everything that is happening around her. She does well with dogs, other cats, and even lived with a pet rat in her previous home. Flower is a beautiful girl in need of a quiet home where she can feel safe and loved forever.
