Meet Aphrodite
Aphrodite is a 2 year old Poodle mix, weighing about 13 pounds. She is weak heartworm positive - meaning it's a relatively light case - so will be crate confined while healing under treatment until September 20 or so. However, she is young and otherwise healthy, and can be expected to have a normal life and lifespan. She'll soon be looking for her forever home with the right adopter - someone who can appreciate her affectionate nature, preferably in an adult household or one with older kids. She does get along well with other dogs.
Come by Poodle Rescue of Houston any day to meet this great dog and many others - the best time to visit is between 9-4:30.
