Meet Homer & Bart!

This dynamic duo is looking for their forever home! Homer & Bart are a bonded father-son pair who were cruelly dumped by their family when they moved and left the two in the yard. They used to hide under a rusty old truck for relief from the heat and bugs. They were cared for by a good samaritan and neighbor before Pet Welfare took them in. You won't find a sweeter pair than these two! They are mellow, affectionate and extremely people oriented; no doubt these two would be your permanent shadow! Father, Homer, has some allergies and may need medication for the rest of his life but he is looking amazing after growing back most of his hair. Son, Bart, is undergoing heartworm treatment but is a healthy boy and will make a full recovery. Neither Bart nor Homer have ever been inside dogs so they will need someone patient to help them understand what it's like. They easily adapt to new situations and are already enjoying the luxury of air conditioning. Both boys do well with larger dogs and children of all ages. Homer is 5 years of age and Bart is 3. They are both neutered, up to date on shots and on heartworm preventative. Stop by and see them 9-1, Mon thru Sat!
