Meet Rusty

Hello, my name is Rusty, and as you may have noticed I am an older Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix in need of a loving home where I can enjoy my golden years. I am a 9 year old neutered male that was brought to the shelter as a stray. If left alone outdoors I do have a tendency to wander off, so a fenced in yard would be wonderful for me. I love to go on long walks because I still have a lot of pep in my step to go along with my adventurous spirit. I am very attentive to you and polite on leash. I am an easy-going and loveable guy that has a ton of wonderful companionship to offer. I am great with strangers and would be a perfect pet for most households. You will be happy to know that I just had a dental and there were no extractions, so I should be good in that area for a long time. I have also been tested with cats at the shelter and did amazingly well.
