Fletcher (declawed) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Fletcher was surrendered to the shelter along with his sister Tippy on 7/11/14 because a household member had developed allergies to cats. He is a 5 year old male and his front paws have been declawed. Fletcher is a mellow fellow that loves nothing more than to be surrounded by his favorite humans, especially if you happen to have a brush in your hand and you're heading his direction. He is super affectionate and enjoys spending time on your lap being petted, scratched, massaged and groomed. He is friendly with everyone and loves having kids around. Fletcher also enjoys the company of other cats, but has never lived with a dog. He would appreciate a home with a cat tree right up next to a window where he can stretch out and enjoy catching some rays of sunlight, as well as being entertained by the sight of birds, squirrels or rabbits that might be flying or scampering about. These two cats are not a bonded pair, but if you would like to adopt his sister Tippy as well in order to keep these siblings together, the shelter does offer a "companion cat crusade" program that allows you to adopt a second cat for half of the original adoption fee.
