Poor Sherman. He was found by animal control in rural South Carolina during a storm. Was he frightened and escaped his home? Why didn't his family look for him? He is a young boy 10-12 months old who all of a sudden found himself lost and alone. Sherman has asked me to explain his pictures. The picture with the hair is the matted Sherman. The picture with the sad Sherman is the shaved Sherman. Sherman was a little cold in the ai-rconditioning without his hair so he now has a T-shirt to keep him warm.
Sherman is a really sweet and loving boy who loves to cuddle. He likes other dogs and just a sweetheart. Can someone give this wonderful boy love and reassurance that he is cute with his new haircut? Do you relate to getting a haircut and missing your longer hair? Please consider giving Sherman a place in our family!

The adoption fee for this dog is $325. This fee INCLUDES neuter and microchipping. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. ***Note that puppy adoption fees generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. They include surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! Our adult animal fees range and are based on: fees we pay to shelters; vetting costs; transport costs and boarding costs. Some animals cost more than others to rescue so that is why our fees range from $275-$350.
