Trek is an 11 month old, 6 pound Poodle - Schnauzer mix. Trek has already been vetted and is ready to be adopted. He'll do great in a variety of settings, due to his gentle and affectionate demeanor. However, given his small size, perhaps he'd do best in a household without young kids.
At Poodle Rescue of Houston, all our dogs are at one location making it easy for you to see many dogs at one time. Before dogs are allowed to leave our facility, they are spayed or neutered, current on shots and heartworm checked (and treated if positive). If you adopt a dog, depending on when the dog arrived at Poodle Rescue, it may be able to go home with you the same day or it may take a week or two to get it through the entire vetting process. All of our dogs are trained to use a doggy door.
