Arrival story: Josie came from a city shelter where she caught the eye of our volunteer. Josie was outside romping in the play yard and we just couldn't leave this silly girl behind.

Approximate age / weight: 3 years old and 55 lbs.

Personality: What a character! Josie is a happy, spunky girl who always seems to have a smile on her face. We can guarantee that if you make Josie part of your family, the amount of smiling in your home will increase ten-fold for all family members. She is very affectionate and playful. Josie enjoys snuggling and being in contact with her people. She loves going for walks, and enjoys a good belly rub before settling down at night. We should tell you that Josie is a great snuggler!

Josie is good at the vet's office, loves car rides, knows how to rock a tutu, knows basic commands, is crate and house-trained, enjoys a good chew toy, and walks pretty well in a harness.

Forever home: Josie would do best in a home with older children or no children. A physically fenced yard is ideal.
