In 2012, Tyson was found by a good Samaritan who pulled him out of a dumpster in the city. He was taken to a local shelter and was adopted. Tyson stayed in his first home for two years where he lived happily with kids and a cat . For an unknown reason, the family recently dumped him at another local high-kill shelter.

Tyson is affectionate and cuddly with people. He does well with other dogs and loves playtime. His ideal home would include a doggy buddy who will play with him. Tyson will make a great partner for walks or lounging in front of the TV.

This energetic guy will play like a champ in your yard or at the dog park. Since Tyson thinks that he often has something important to say, he would do best a single family home. Tyson needs a home where he can get regular potty breaks (i.e., with someone who works from home, dog walker or doggy daycare). He is still young enough to learn whatever someone would like to teach him.

He is a sweet wonderful little guy wants a forever home with someone special. Are you a match for Tyson? He will fill your life with happy tail wags, spirited games of fetch, and love. Please apply to adopt Tyson today.

The adoption fee for this dog is $300, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter. Some animals cost more than others to rescue, so our adult animal adoption fees range from $275-$350. The adoption fee imposed for each animal is based on: fees paid to the shelter, vetting costs, transport costs, and boarding costs.

Be sure to ask us about getting a free 30-minute phone consult with a professional dog trainer within the first 30 days of adopting - just for HT adopters. Start your new dog out on the right foot with this valuable, expert advice and guidance FREE!

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please check out information about fostering on our website at http://www.homewardtrails.org/foster-a-pet/pet-foster-forms/.

Thank you for contacting Homeward Trails Animal Rescue and helping to save a life!
