Meet Sophia

Here is sweet Sophia! She is a shepherd/retriever mix. Sophia has come a long way since being rescued from the shelter. She adores children, puppies and a good snuggle. She is respectful in the home and has a busy mind so she enjoys a rawhide to chew while watching tv. She is energetic but this is manageable with regular exercise. She does pretty well on a leash and comes back when called. She is housebroken and doing very well on kennel training. Recently a foster fur sibling had puppies and Sophia has had the time of her life babysitting while mom takes a rest. She is heartworm positive but is being treated with Heartguard. This is the slow kill method that is recommended by our vet and we expect this to work well. She's about a year old.
