Meet JJ
JJ was given up by a family that found themselves with too many bunnies to care for. Each rabbit was raised indoors with children of various ages who were taught to respect their gentle pets. All the rabbits were named, brushed, carried and treated with love and joy. We were so happy to see how friendly, clean and well cared for JJ and his siblings were and JJ continues to be his gentle self with the volunteers who care for him with extra salad treats and plenty of time outside of his cage for exercise. JJ is a youngster at only 9-months-old.
Rabbits are active, gentle pets that are happiest and healthiest when they have a large clean cage, lots of play time out of their cage, and plenty of fresh hay and veggies daily. All of the Medfield Shelter's bunnies are indoor pets and would not do well outside in a hutch. If you are interested in adopting a rabbit from our shelter, please fill out our adoption application on this page: www.medfieldshelter.com/critter_applications/new
