Arrival Story: Izzy was found as a stray. Attempts were made to find her family to no avail. Once her stray hold was up, she became a Waggin' Tails pup. Izzy has received age-appropriate vaccinations.

Personality: Izzy is a wiggle butt! When she is excited her whole bottom half looks like it is elastic. She enjoys a good romp in the yard with her doggy playmates but calms down nicely. She loves to jump and climb so we think she'd be perfect for agility training. Izzy also loves the water and will jump into a pool on her own when called. She learned to swim last summer! Izzy broke her leg last summer and ended up having orthopedic surgery. She's healed well but still walks with a slight limp. This does not stop her from being active! Izzy is a great snuggler and sometimes curls up in a chair with a chew toy, particularly at our adoption events. Izzy is good on car rides and at the vet's office.

Forever home: Izzy enjoys climbing and jumping and learning new things so an active home that would provide a job or backyard agility / training would be ideal for Izzy. Izzy is very smart and will need to be mentally challenged daily. She would love to have humans are active.

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $225 for adult dogs. Different adoption fees apply for older dogs, small breeds and puppies - $125 for senior dogs, $275 for small breed dogs and $250 for puppies, plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.

Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
