Papa Jeff was rescued as a stray; when the owner could not be found he was then surrendered to the shelter on 4/13/14. This alluring 2 year old male with light green eyes and a plush black coat is warm, affectionate, and more than ready to become your loyal companion. He is sure to bring you happiness and unconditional love forever. He is a sweet and talkative boy that loves attention and loves being told how handsome he is. Papa Jeff is a bit leery of all the strangers and noise of shelter life which is so very different from anything he has ever known. He is adapting better as each day goes by, but sure would appreciate a loving home soon. Papa Jeff is very quick to offer an instant purr as you hold him in your arms, which also makes him so happy that his paws automatically start to knead as soon as more petting and scratching comes his way. He rubs against you begging for adoption as if he knows that black cats have a more difficult time finding homes. Please ask to spend some time with this wonderful feline in need of a home and your love.
