Meet Duke

Hello, I was brought to the shelter as a 4 month old puppy on 4/15/14. My name is Duke. I am a neutered male and a mixed breed of Labrador Retriever and Hound, but the rest is unknown. I am the most timid of my litter and would like a quiet home filled with lots of snuggling and love. I am VERY sweet and I love to be cuddled up on your lap. The shelter staff is super nice to me, and sometimes they even sit with me in my kennel and give me lots of attention, which makes me wonder if I am their favorite. I do come out of my shell more when I am taken outside, and I am trying to be very brave. It is a policy of the shelter that all puppies go to puppy obedience classes which will help to build my confidence, and I like the idea of learning new things meaning that I will have more one on one time with you.
