Primrose ( Longest Resident dog ) American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Eau Claire, WI

Hi There! My name is Primrose, and I am a spayed female American Staffordshire Terrier that was brought to the shelter as a stray on 4/11/14. I am 2 1/2 years old with a lovely light gray coat and a white chest. I also have white trim on the edges of my paws. Some of my walkers have been commenting on how large my ears are, but I think they are just right. I am in need of a new home with a very experienced dog owner because I can be a little possessive of really good things like rawhides; yum!! This is why I must also ask for a home without children. I am very sweet and I love attention. I have a lot of energy and I love to play, so the perfect home for me would be with an active household that understands my need for a job and will make sure that I receive plenty of daily exercise. I could use additional leash training as I pull pretty hard when I am first taken outside. The longer I am out for a walk the more polite I become. A home with a fenced in yard would really be a dream come true. I am a barker and will let you know if there are strangers around. I would love to have the chance to meet you and show you how beautiful I am, so please stop over soon and spend some time with me.
