Buckshot Terrier Mix Eau Claire, WI

Hiya! Buckshot here; full of wonderful energy, and ready to light up your life with entertainment, lots of laughs, and a lifetime of loyal companionship. There's no being lonely or sad when I'm around! I am a 4 1/2 year old male Teddy Roosevelt Terrier in need of a household that is very experienced with my breed. You see, typically we can be a little aloof, have an enormous amount of energy and can be quite a handful. It's a good thing I'm so cute - did you notice the freckles on my legs and the adorable narrow blaze of white down the front of my face? I am a very confident and busy little guy that is curious about everything, loves to play, runs circles around you if you are not walking fast enough for me, and sometimes if I can't think of anything to do I have been known to entertain myself by chasing my tail. I am super friendly and I love to be held in your arms or spend time on your lap, but I am way too busy and wiggly to stay for very long. I am a protector of many things, and I really do not care to share my toys, so I will need a home without children. As part of my adoption requirements I must be taken to formal obedience training where I can learn to share. Right now I see my things as mine only, so I dive into my food, and somewhat guard my rawhides and toys. With my intelligence and food motivation I am sure to be a great student. I must admit that I do pull on leash and I can be strong, but I know sit and I am sure that will come in handy. I will need to be neutered before leaving the shelter and I would also like you to know that I am not housebroken. I love humans and would most likely enjoy being by your side throughout your busy day.
