Lia (3-legged sweetheart) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Hi, my name is Lia and as you can see I am missing my right back leg. Please do not feel sorry for me or let that worry you because I honestly hardly miss it at all. I can still run and jump and play, and I am doing great! For those of you that do not know my story, I was brought to the shelter as a stray with a badly broken leg. It was a spiral fracture and couldn't be saved, so my leg was amputated on 3/26/14. I was around 4 to 5 months old at that time, and I have been enjoying life in foster care where I have been pampered and spoiled ever since. I love my foster family and the dogs here, but it is now time for me to move on and find my true forever family. I am a beautiful female tortoiseshell with a very loving and friendly personality. I very much enjoy being cuddled and I love playing with all of my cat toys. I am current on my shelter vaccinations including my rabies, and I am excellent with the litter box. I am one of the most active, sweetest, and most loveable cats that you will ever meet, and everyone that I have met so far whole-heartedly agrees. Every day I am finding new ways to amaze my humans and every time they look at me they can't help but smile. I am sure that I will be able to make you smile too, and I am really looking forward to meeting you soon!
