Hi, my name is Sadie Jo. I am a 9 year old female Labrador Retriever/Cattle Dog mix, and was surrendered to the shelter because my previous owner had too many dogs per a city ordinance. I do well with cats and most other dogs, and look forward to meeting any canine members of your family just as much as I look forward to meeting you. I am very sweet and will even give kisses to strangers. I am a good-natured girl and will be a delightful companion for the lucky family that adopts me. When we go for our walks you will soon discover that I am quite good on leash and pretty laid-back until I see something that really interests me, and then I will surprise you with how fast I perk up. At the shelter there is almost always something moving somewhere, and lots of new smells for me to check out. I am housebroken and very good about doing my business as soon as you take me outside. I will need a home without small children because I really like my treats and food. Please stop over to visit with me soon. The adoption process will take a little longer for me because I must be spayed before I can go home with you. I am currently staying at Bob's House for Dogs.
