Hi There! My name is Susie Q and I am a very sweet female Beagle. I am 7 years young, housebroken, and I have been spayed. I am super easy to walk and just as mild-mannered and loving as I look in my pictures. You really can't go wrong with a Beagle! I am a very sweet snuggler enjoying all the attention that comes my way. You are more than welcome to scratch my back and ears, and then come back in five minutes and scratch and love on me some more. I never get enough! I was brought to the shelter with my best friend Sadie Jo and I wouldn't mind being adopted with her, but we are not a bonded pair and will also easily adapt to separate homes. Our previous owner surrendered us to the shelter because they had too many dogs per a city ordinance, so it is obvious that I do well with most other dogs. I have been told that I may be a tad over-weight (aren't we all?). I am currently on thyroid medication and will need to have my thyroid checked throughout my life to make sure that my prescription matches my needs. I would be a great companion for a quiet household that likes to go for daily walks, but prefers to avoid super strenuous exercise, and would enjoy a dog that doesn't jump up on you. When we go for our walks you will soon discover that I am quite good on leash and will be a great companion for the lucky family that adopts me. I am currently staying at Bob's House for Dogs.
