My Story: Bijou is French for little jewel and that is just what I am. My Foster mom thinks I would make the perfect companion because I love to sit in your lap and cuddle, or be carried in your arms, I walk great on a leash and love to ride in the car. I get along great with my foster dog brothers and sisters so I would make a great friend to another small dog as well. I am on the petite side at just 10.5 lbs so I would not like to be around rough playing children. I can use pee pads but am just as happy to go outside to do my business.
A fenced yard that I can explore in would be really nice but if you are home a lot to take me for walks and give me lots of attention that would work too. I can be playful and love to have my coat brushed and do not mind having baths at all. I do not like to jump on furniture and am happy to sleep in my crate or in a soft bed.
