Sleepy was sadly surrendered to the shelter on 3/06/14. His previous owner moved and Sleepy was not allowed to join him at the new residence. He is a 9 year old neutered male, but far from being ready for retirement. Sleepy is a happy guy that loves to play with those ever popular crunchy and glitter balls. He is good with other cats and also did great living with a small dog in his previous home. Sleepy is very affectionate and loves to be petted; he is sure to melt your heart as he starts to knead his paws in contentmant while in your arms or on your lap. Sleepy is very friendly and is an excellent listener when you need a special friend to talk to, or would just like to tell him about your day, or let him know how handsome he is. From time to time Sleepy can be quite the talker too, and likes to let you know how much he appreciates your love. He is good with children and would fit in nicely with most households. Sleepy knows how to use a scratching post and enjoys afternoon naps in the warm rays of sunlight from a window. Sleepy will need a home willing to keep his gorgeous coat brushed and tangle free. You will notice areas of shorter fur where we had to clip out mats that were much too large to be combed out. A quick daily brushing will keep this mellow boy looking great and feeling even better!
