Meet Jewel

Tiny, sweet and affectionate, Jewel (formerly Thistle) is looking for a home. Thistle is a short coated Chihuahua. She was just 6 pounds when she first came to BrightSide but with some excellent care and nurturing in a foster home and here at the shelter, she is now a hefty 9 pounds. We estimate her age at 7 years. She is a very sweet girl. Jewel makes good eye contact and not surprisingly, isn't keen on obedience commands. But she knows a lap when she sees one and is looking for a home with at least one! In her foster home, she shares the space with other dogs and does very well. She is a pretty quiet girl who loves a walk on a leash. Jewel has many years left to give and she hopes you have room in your home or your RV for her to join you on life's adventures.
