Meet Ernest

Ernest is a 7-8 month old bully breed mix who came to us as a stray and was never claimed. Ernie is very confused as to how he ended up at the shelter and doesn't quite to know what to think of all the loud sounds, and new people coming and going. This brindle buddy is on the shy side and will need an owner to help him learn that there are so many wonderful things in this big world out there waiting for him! Ernie is a little shy with people and needs some time to bond with them; he hasn't had much leash walking experience, so he will need a little patience with that as well. He does amazingly well with other dogs, and an older brother or sister canine in the house will help him immensely with his confidence and social skills. Around other dogs, Ernie is a big old clown; running, jumping, romping and letting go of his fears. Watching Ernie hop around like a kangaroo is a site that will bring smiles and chuckles to even the most cynical of souls! Please open your heart to this gentle soul; you won't ever regret saving his life!
