Arrival story: Moose was surrendered at three weeks old with his brother, Zero. Their mother unfortunately lives outside, and it is too cold for puppies! Their Mom is a shepherd.
Approximate age / Weight: 17 weeks old / 24 lbs as of 4-29-2014
Personality: Moose is a great outgoing puppy. He's very independent and loves to explore his foster home and yard. He plays well with acceptable toys and his brother and foster sister. He does well in his crate and sleeps through the night. He knows sit and will come when called. He watches and learns routines very quickly. Moose is a very smart guy with so much potential!
Forever home: As a young pup, Moose will be dependent on his new family to teach him the things all dogs know to make him a loving companion, in a kind and gentle manner. We recommend all pups attend age-appropriate training class to help strengthen your bond. Please remember that puppies require lots of attention, playtime and patience, while they grow.

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $225 for adult dogs. Different adoption fees apply for older dogs, small breeds and puppies - $125 for senior dogs, $275 for small breed dogs and $250 for puppies, plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar for the latest information. Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
Please be kind to our volunteers who have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries will be answered much more quickly than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
