Meet Truman
Age: 9 years old
Sex: Neutered Male

Health: Truman is UTD on all vaccines, rabies, HW negative and microchipped. He had a dental and had all but 5 teeth extracted. He is still able to eat dry food, if moistened, without any problems. He does have a grade 3-4 heart murmur, but does not require any medication at this time.
Temperament: Truman is a very energetic 9 year old Chin. He loves to play with other dogs and gets along with older children. He does fine on a leash and loves to go for walks/runs. Even though Truman is older, his potty training is a work in progress. He will need a family that can help keep him on a regular schedule to prevent potty accidents. He loves to cuddle with his humans and has a very sweet personality. He does bark for attention, but does quite down once he gets what he wants. Truman is okay on car rides, but he might need some reassurance from someone while in the car. Since his foster home doesn't have a cat, we are not sure how Truman will be with them.
My Ideal Home: Truman would do well with a family that is active with older children. He has always been with other dogs and feel it would be best if he had another dog in his new forever family to play and cuddle with. Truman would probably enjoy having a fenced in backyard to run and play in, but he does enjoy going for walks too. Because of Truman's age, he will need a family with lots of patience and love to help him adjust to his new forever home.
