Meet Bear (family cat)

Bear is a 1 year old neutered male with gorgeous yellow-green eyes, and has been a shelter resident since 2/11/14. He is awesome with gentle children, grew up with dogs, and does well with other cats. Bear is very friendly and affectionate, but not demanding of your love. If you are busy, he is just as content with watching you go about your day as he keeps an eye on everything you are doing. He loves to be petted and could spend all day relaxing in the security and comfort of your loving arms, and even likes to be cuddled like a baby. He also enjoys spending some time on your lap, but prefers to camp at your feet as you watch TV or read a good book. His favorite place to sleep at night is cuddled up in bed with you at your feet. This special little charmer also has a playful side and will entertain himself and your family as he plays with small catnip mice or balls, but really loves wand toys made to jump and wiggle by the human members of his family.
