Meet JoAnne

This cat was an owner surrender to a local animal shelter when she was just two years old. She then spent over a year at the animal shelter being looked over day after day after day. Maybe it's because she blended in with the gray of the cages? Or because she is quiet? We don't know. But what can be said is that she is showing delight in being in a foster home! She can be found exploring, hanging out on the couch and simply relishing life!
JoAnne is a pretty long hair blue cream dilute torti with white markings and big green eyes. She is a beautiful cat.
She is good with other cats but still a bit suspicious of being up close and personal with the dogs. However, the dog noise does not bother her at all. After being at an animal shelter for a year, loud noise in general does not phase her.
She is friendly, laid back and what I call an easy keeper. She does not start trouble, does well with others and has a real live and let live personality. I suspect she would adapt to most any household.
While JoAnne can not talk, I know she would so enjoy living out the rest of her life with a loving, caring family who will never ever dump her at another animal shelter.
Could that be you?
You won't be sorry if you adopt this lovely lady.
She is in a foster home with cats and dogs and does well with both.

She is spayed, and up to date on shots.
She has been tested for Feline Leukemia and has Revolution put on him once a month.
The adoption fee $100.00
Soft Claws: Because PetsConnect has moved to a no-declaw policy, we are using soft claws as a training tool for our foster cats. Soft Claws are soft plastic nail caps for cats.
We have an adoption event scheduled for every Saturday from 11am to 3pm at the PetSmart in Mishawaka. If you are interested in meeting a specific animal, please email us and request an application. Please note that since all the animals in our program reside in foster homes. Because of this whether or not a specific animal can be at an adoption event depends on the volunteers schedule. If you have an approved application, we will hold the animal for an agreed upon time or, in some cases, make arrangements to meet you with the animal.
