Meet Mickey
Heartbreaker- this young man was found curled up with his sister warming her as she was trying to stay alive. Thankfully, a kind man stumbled upon them and got them to safety. We're happy to report after compassionate medical treatment they are both completely healed and back to a healthy weight. And now Mickey is ready to find a loving home where he will never know hunger, cold or fear again. Mickey is outgoing, attentive and eager to please - he just needed someone to show him what to do! So he is currently enrolled in a 30 day training program where he is proving himself the shining star we knew he could be! Graduation is scheduled for the week of April 14 and then he'll be ready for his forever home. He would thrive in a home with room to run and an active, loving family to share their life with him. Mickey is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix, approximately 18 months old, neutered, vaccinated, and dewormed.
