Hello...my name is Peanut. Nice to e-meet you :) As you can see from my pictures, I am a gorgeous girl with jet black fur and big amber eyes. My foster mom thinks I look like a miniature panther and when I’m sneaking up on my laser toy, I'd have to agree!

My story: I came to BTR as a kitten and was adopted by a wonderful family. I had a happy life until an unforeseeable situation forced my family to give me up. It's been tough being bounced around – sometimes I’m a little anxious and it may take me a while to settle into a new environment. At heart though I am a playful, smart, and curious girl that just wants a family to keep me safe and entertained!

I love watching birds from my window. I also love to watch TV...sometimes I'll jump up in front of the screen just so I can be as close as possible to the action! I like being played with and talked to - I even have my own chirpy meow language that I’d love to teach you. I love all kinds of toys but my true love is my buddy, ‘Mr. Fox’. He is really the only other animal I want to hang with. Other cats, dogs, and even small children can be frightening to me, so I would prefer to be the sole recipient of your affection!
