Nov 1, 2014 - Maggie has been adopted. She has gone to a lovely home with another cat who was lonely when its companion cat died. She is settling very well.

This is her story: Meet Maggie, a beautiful medium-haired Tuxedo. Her date of birth is estimated to be February 2010. She was rescued in April 2013 and has become a wonderful companion for her foster family.

Maggie is a sweet cat with a big personality! She absolutely loves companionship, and follows you around the house. After being home alone all day she throws herself down on the floor for affection and purrs away. At night, she loves to curl up at the foot of the bed, or even sleep on your chest for brief periods of time. Maggie also enjoys being scratched around the neck and behind her ears, or gently brushed, but does not really like being picked up or handled too much, and one needs to tune in to her mood.

Maggie loves to play! She is beside herself with happiness when she has toys and someone to play with, although she happily plays alone with her favourite toys.

Maggie's big personality and playfulness will keep you smiling and laughing. This sweet cat would be so grateful for a loving forever home, and would be a wonderful companion and endearing, sweet friend. Maggie is best suited for a home without young children who cannot always handle a cat gently, or even appreciate that a cat prefers not to be held and carried around. Maggie needs a loving home where she can be understood and loved just the way she is, and in return she will give a lot of love, companionship, and fun.
