CJ Pit Bull Terrier Mix Buffalo, NY

Sweet CJ is a young bully breed mix, between 1 and 2 years old who came to us as a stray and was never claimed. Shortly after arriving at the shelter, CJ ended up getting sick with a bad cold. Luckily, the loving volunteers and staff nursed him back to health, so now CJ is a healthy, happy, young bachelor looking to fall in love with a family. We meet lots of dogs at the shelter, but CJ is just one of those guys with such charisma! He has that "it factor" that draws people to him and makes them fall in love immediately. Maybe it's CJ's eyes? He has the most, soulful, almost human gaze possible. When he looks at you adoringly with his captivating glances, you can't help but want to give him your undivided attention and snuggle up next to him. Maybe it's his amazing ability to snuggle? CJ loves being a lap dog; he likes to sit next to people and cuddle up as close as possible. If you let him, he will crawl right into your lap for some uninterrupted loving and look at you like you're a movie star. Whatever it is, we just can't get enough of this guy! CJ walks well on a leash and is friendly with everyone he meets. This guy deserves to find a family who will cherish him like the rock star we know he is! We have learned that CJ has a 3 out of 5 heart murmur. We had him neutered, and he made it through the surgery like a champ! He can still have an amazing life for many years to come, but his new owners should be aware of his medical condition and to let him enjoy a more relaxed and calm lifestyle.
