Stefan Domestic Short Hair Mix Charlton, MA

Meet Stefan! He is a 6 month old purr machine! Stefan has not had it easy since he has been born and you would never know it! He has been in foster care since he was 4 weeks old and has won over the hearts of everyone who meets him. Our rescue took in Stefan, his brother Damon and there two sisters because there were to be put to sleep by another shelter. Stefan and his siblings were born without eyelids, making it so there eyelashes would stick to there eyes and make them very irritated. Unfortunatley Stefan was the worst one off of the bunch and one eye got so bad we were not able to save it and he had it removed at 8 weeks old. He does excellent without it and it doesn't affect him at all. His eye was so bad off we are not sure he even ever had sight there. We took him to Tufts and they said they could do the surgery he just needed to be a little bigger. He hung out at his foster home getting bigger till he turned 6 months and was able to have his surgery. Everything went well and he is doing great and looks so beautiful! We also have learned that Stefan has a 4/6 heart murmur that is caused by an enlarged heart valve. Its something that will need to be monitered but in no way affects his day to day. Stefan is so full of love and energy and is a typical kitten. He is so deserving of a great home! Stefan is very easy going and gets along with cats, dogs, kids anyone that is willing to play with him. He will do best in a home with another friendly cat to play around with. This little guy holds a special place in my heart and will steal your heart the moment you meet him. Please make him part of your family!
