Meet Jake
This gorgeous boy is Jake, a young malamute mix. He was born sometime in early 2013 and currently weighs about 70 pounds. Jake is a happy fellow who craves an active lifestyle and would love to be a part of a family who loves to be outdoors. He is very sweet and good natured.
Jake was picked up as a stray and found himself in a high kill shelter. He was rescued just four minutes before he was to be euthanized. He seems to understand his luck and wants to make his humans happy.
Applications for Jake's adoption are now being accepted.
Update - Jake has been adopted but is not thriving in his new home. We believe that Jake needs more room to run with a family who is knowledgeable of large breed dogs, and is willing to train and socialize him. Jake continues to live with his new family in the city while we search for the perfect family for him.
