Sydney UPDATE! Black Labrador Retriever Mix Libertyville, IL

Sydney is a sweet little one year old lab mix. She was rescued from a life in Missouri where she didn't have her own family and lived outside. After having 10 puppies on Thanksgiving day, some very special people transported her and her pups through snow and ice to get a second chance. Her pups Abbey and Adam are available for adoption as well.

Sydney is quickly learning the ropes and is very eager to please. She is an expert at sit ; comes when her name is called. She is a smart girl and her foster mom says she is a world champion in the sport of professional cuddling. Sydney's foster mom is working on training with her and thinks one day she could make an excellent agility, nosework or flyball dog. That is not a requirement of adoption but she is an agile and athletic girl who would most likely excel at any dog sport. Sydney is excelling at training and whoever gets to adopt her will get a very well trained dog! Bonus!!!

Sydney gets along great with her foster canine brother and sister. She is also cat friendly. She is crate trained and housebroken. She is spayed and up to date on shots.

ADOPTION FEE: $300.00 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possibly. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed.
