Meet CeCe - Adopted

Good With Kids: Would prefer a home without children or older children.
Good With Other Dogs: CeCe wants to be the only dog
Good With Cats: Unknown
Housetrained: Yes
Crate Trained: Yes
Walks Nicely On A Leash: Yes
Knows Basic Commands: This smart girl knows her commands
Energy Level (Couch Potato, Moderate or High): Moderate
Special Needs: None

Arrival story: Cece was spotted roaming in Detroit, and after six days on the run in cold weather, she was caught by some good Samaritans who wanted to help her. She was not claimed by a family so we made room at Waggin’ Tails for her.

Approximate age / Weight: 1.5 years old and 45lbs.

Personality: CeCe is a very sweet, gentle soul who enjoys attention from people. She is a little shy, so a quieter home would suit her best. She takes treats very gently and has wonderful house manners. Cece is house-trained (will whine at door when she needs to go out), crate-trained and walks like a dream on a leash. This girl is also good at the vet’s office and loves car rides. She’s a great girl who will make an awesome companion!

Forever home: Cece really enjoys spending time outside with her people, so we think Cece would love a home with a fenced yard or with a family who is active and outdoorsy. She can be shy and skiddish with a lot of noise, so she'd prefer a quiet home without children or older children. She wants to have all of your attention for herself, so a home without another dog is best.

Contact: Please contact wtdr2008@yahoo.com if you’re interested in adopting Cece!
Pre-Adoption Application: To be considered for a dog, it is best to submit a pre-adoption application. The Pre-Adoption Application can be downloaded from our website - http://www.waggintailsdogrescue.org/adoptionprocess.html. Just complete the application and email it back to wtdr2008@yahoo.com
Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $225 for adult dogs. Different adoption fees apply for older dogs, small breeds and puppies - $125 for senior dogs, $275 for small breed dogs and $250 for puppies, plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar for the latest information. Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
Please be kind to our volunteers who have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries will be answered much more quickly than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
Thank you for your support of rescue and your interest in a rescue dog!
