Eight-month-old Lucy was brought to the shelter after being hit by a car. Thankfully due to gracious donations, volunteer dedication and substantial assistance from Pieper Memorial Hospital she had surgery and went into a foster home for a little over a month of after care treatment and doctor follow up appointments. Lucy was named for the Charlie Brown character as she has quite a bossy big mouth when she greets and meets people and other pets or just wants attention. It sounds much like bark growling which can be intimidating but she just hasn't found her proper greeting/speaking voice yet. She still has a lot of puppy energy, can be a little jumpy and a little mouthy but is easily trained and as a pup she needs some obedience training in order to be the perfect companion. She loves to snuggle, give kisses and loves to play. She lived with an older male dog in her foster home with whom's company she enjoyed and wanted to play with constantly. An absolute love bug and sweetest Petbull in the making she is waiting for you. Until fully trained not to jump she should live with older or taller children that are able to assert commands for her to behave. A family that trains together will be best suited.
