Lyris ( longest resident ) Siamese Mix Eau Claire, WI

Lyris is an exceptional 2 year old neutered male who has found himself in need of a new place to call home. He is a Siamese Flame Point mix with irresistible jowls waiting to be scratched, a short plush coat waiting to be brushed, gorgeous blue eyes waiting to melt your heart, and a quiet purr to sooth the soul as cats are known to do. While reserved about being held in your arms for long periods of time, Lyris loves attention and will pace at the front of his cage in hopes of drawing you into noticing him. This sweet and handsome boy is a special needs kitty in that there are a couple of health issues that you will want to keep an eye on for the rest of his life. You will notice that Lyris has a bit of a cauliflower ear which is usually caused by a hematoma. Since he was found as a stray his history is a mystery, so we cannot be certain if it was caused by a chronic ear infection, ear mites, or allergies. He also has a faint grade 2 heart murmur.
