Tinkerbell and Lola are two bonded girls that we want to stay together. They have been in a foster home and done well. The two girls were turned into the Arizona Humane Society by a family who said they didn't have time for the girls because they had too many dogs. Both girls are potty trained, crate trained, and accustomed to sleeping in a crate. They do know how to use a doggy door, and are well behaved while getting groomed. They like men, women, children, and am used to living with other dogs especially each other. They have never lived around cats, or any other animals. New photos coming soon.

Tinkerbell is a six year old mini schnauzer female who had mammary tumors which have been removed. The biopsy was negative and she appears to be very healthy.

Lola, is a five year old yorkie/shih tzu mix.

Both girls are very obedient to gentle commands and rarely encourage the foster to use a stern voice. Theyre such good girls. The girls are very loyal and taking pretty good to basic commands like "come here", "no", "down", "lets go"...and they are working on "stay" with Tinker (she seems to respond to Tinker more so than Tinkerbell and when she's being obstinate, Tink seems to catch her attention). After each time they respond as told, they get positive good girl affirmation.

The girls adoption fee is $225. If they were available individually, the fee would be $150 each. If you are interested in these girls, please email us phxgsrescue@hotmail.com Applications in the immediate area are given preference and you need to be within driving distance to come and pick up a dog. We do not ship our dogs. When you adopt a dog from us and for some reason it doesn't work, the dog be returned to VSGSR and a full refund is given with in the first thirty days. Any dog adopted from us at any time comes back to Valley of the Sun Giant Schnauzer Rescue if the adopter can not keep the dog. We are responsible for our dogs for their lifetime. And we hope our adopters are also. Each dog will have been neutered, had full panel blood tests done, been microchipped and up to date on all of his shots. We do prefer that you be within driving distance of Phoenix to adopt one of our dogs. If the adoption doesn't work out for some reason with in the first thirty days, the adoption fee is refunded upon return of the dog. Our contract states that during the life of the dog, should something happen that you can not keep any of our dogs, the dog must be returned to VSGSR. Should a family member wish to adopt the dog, they would be given first priority. We are responsible for our dogs for their entire life.
