Meet Sandy

Sandy is a 7lb Chihuahua whom we found as a stray in the Virgin Islands while on vacation. We were told by locals that she had been living under a truck for almost a month. We were driving by on a road and saw her. She was not receptive to being rescued, but she was an easy catch. She was very scared, but once she realized she was not going to be hurt, she started whining for attention! She is still a little scared, and we are looking for a patient home who understands it will be a little work to get her socialized and used to being spoiled. She has beautiful green eyes and a huge underbite- it gives her so much character! Sandy is about 1 year of age. Sandy loves other dogs, especially Tortola, who also came from the islands. She loves playing outside!
