Arrival story: Abbott was a stray at a rural shelter who arrived there with his brother. His brother got adopted and poor Abbott was all alone. A plea was put out for a rescue to save him and WT couldn't resist his cute face.

Personality: Abbott is adjusting well in his foster home. He was shy and nervous at first but quickly warmed up to his foster parents and canine siblings. Abbott loves playing outside with his other canine pals and then enjoys coming inside for a snuggle on the couch. He is a smart boy who knows his basic commands and would be a good student in obedience training. Abbott loves people! He can be shy and unsure of new situations and may be intimidated by sudden and loud movements of small children.

Forever home: Abbott would love an active family with another doggie playmate to call his own. Like most young dogs he is curious and needs to be kept mentally and physically stimulated to be happy.
