Jack - ADOPTED! Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler & Border Collie Mix Kennebunkport, ME

Jack is a gorgeous grown-up boy who was returned to the rescue because his owner was unable to keep him. He is an exuberant and intelligent dog, but is struggling to live in the city because, like all herding or working dogs, he needs to run and play. He loves to play Frisbee and play ball. While Jack likes most other dogs it's hard for him to meet them on leash but we are learning he enjoys currently living with other dogs.

Jack is a stellar running and hiking companion and can play Frisbee better than any dog we've seen. He loves to swim, and he knows tons of tricks and is wonderful with people. He lives to please humans!

He is almost four years old and is strikingly beautiful, everyone compliments his good looks! He loves riding in the car and will do anything for a treat.

His dog friends are always submissive personalities, often females and small dogs. He would not be a good candidate to live with cats.

Jack is looking for a home with lots of room to run, in a rural environment, with an active family who likes to run and play. He would be a great working dog or companion for someone who enjoys doing sports with dogs!
