Catalina Border Collie & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Verplanck, NY

Catalina is a medium sized mixed breed dog. She was being advertised as a pit mix when she was in the Animal Care and Control. However, as her foster I do not see much of her mix as Pit Bull. She enjoys the outdoors, even loves the snow. She gets along with all dogs well, both male and females of all ages. She was super hyper when she first came into our home as a foster. She has decompressed nicely and she is highly intelligent. She does not have any food or guarding issues. She loves to play fetch and will run for hours for a game of catch and fetch. She is apx 11 months old and is UTD on all shots and she is spayed. She needs a forever home that will continue training her as she is highly intelligent. She is crate trained and has never messed in her crate. She can easily stay in her crate for up to 8 hours while you sleep. She walks nicely on the leash, she has been trained on a Sporn harness.
