Meet Buffy (plays fetch)

Hello, my name is Buffy and I am one good kitty! I am the traditional "cat" as I am very curious. I love to play with anything that moves and I will play fetch till your arm gets tired. My favorite toys are ones that crinkle, and the all time popular laser light toys. I am also very independent. I will come to you when I want attention and I love to be petted, but like a lot of felines, I do not like to b held or forced to sit on your lap. I feel more comfortable just sitting beside you. I did live with another cat in my previous home and we played together and even slept together. If you would like to meet my friend, just ask a member of the staff to show you where he is - his name is Goblin. We were surrendered to the shelter on 10/30/13 because there was a new human baby in the household and another one on the way. I am a 1 1/2 year old spayed female. I love tuna treats! I am very talkative, and friendly with strangers and children. My dream home would be with a family looking to get a first animal or to "even out the pack." I enjoy being around children that will play with me and pet me.
