Did You Adopt Rooney?

Meet Rooney

Rooney is an 11 year old 30 lb Scottie mix. He is crate trained, doing very well with his house training, and loves all people and older children. Rooney would not be suited for a family with young children due to his strength and joy of jumping on his person at meal times. Rooney gets along well with other dogs, he will chase cats but he does not hurt them, and he does very well on a leash.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers and we require a home check for each of our adoptable pets prior to them going to their new homes, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte will be responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
