Meet Akira - Adopted 06/21/2014
Akira and her puppies were brought to SAFARI when the puppies were 2 weeks. They were brought to us so we could find all 11 of them wonderful families. Akira will not be available until the middle of January, after the puppies have all been weaned. Akira is as sweet as she can be. She is currently fostered with 2 dogs and gets along wonderfully with both of them. She has been a great mother to her puppies, and will make a wonderful addition to a family.
Akira is a super sweet girl, very well behaved and knows all of her basic commands, Sit, Down, Shake, Sit Pretty, and walks well on a leash. She loves playing with stuffed toys and would love to find a family that likes to snuggle.

Special Animal Friends and Rescue, Inc. (SAFARI) is a non-profit, no-kill, foster based animal rescue. SAFARI is currently seeking foster parents, volunteers, and donation to fund the continued rescue of these deserving animals.
**Please note: SAFARI requires all applications to be submitted in person at an adoption event. All family members should be present for the application and the in-person interview with a member of our Adoption Approval Committee. All applications will require a home inspection prior to final approval.**
A fenced yard may be required for bully breeds, and some dogs may require a household where all children are over the age of 5.***
