Penny Terrier & Portuguese Podengo Mix Ludlow, MA

My name is Penny! I'm about a year and 1/2 old and 10 lbs. I am most likely a terrier mix but I have the coloring of a mini Portuguese Podengo. When I was first taken from the shelter I was scared of everything and very anxious but since being in my foster home, I've learned to relax and play! I am good with other dogs who don't bother me too much, and I'm ok with cats. I love to go for walks and to snuggle on laps. I'm house broken and super smart. I learn quick when you have treats for me. When I'm in a comfortable environment, I'm very friendly but I'm still very sensitive so I need an owner who understands this and is willing to work with me. I will need some space and time to adjust to my new environment. New situations and transitions make me nervous. I like routines. A quiet home with with patience and no children is best for me. I love being outside and playing but I also love my quiet time indoors napping. I'm excited to meet you!
