Meet Ellie
**Update** I can see very little. I have hearing if it is a very high pitched sound but other than that I am totally deaf. I am very sweet and will do well with other dogs if they are not going to bully me. I love attention and want to cuddle with someone and will do well on walks if they are provided. I will need a small area that is fenced in since I am blind and I would wander away and get lost very easily. I do well here at my foster home since I know where I am going and can get in and outside on my own if they leave the doors open for me. I can do stairs once I know where they are and would do well with cats. I sleep with two of them at my foster mom's house.
Elllie came to us as totally blind and deaf. After several vets we know she has some eye sight but for how long we don't know. She is totally deaf. She has learned our area and yard and does very well. Plays well with other dogs as long as they are not rough.
She is a very happy dog and loves life. She is sweet and has a very kind heart. We think she is about 3 years old and will be ready to leave here after the first of the year. If children are gentle they will do fine with this girl.
She will need a fenced in yard for fear of just wandering off and getting lost. She has learned to do stairs but if those could be limited that would be best for her.
